Earphones Test+ is an application designed to assess the quality of your earphones or speakers and confirm compatibility with your Android device. The application offers an efficient interface for conducting tests, enabling users to easily compare the characteristics and performance of their earphone collection. Additionally, users can preview a new model before purchasing and assess its compatibility with their smartphone and hearing.

To compare volume levels, users can press the 1000Hz reference button and the variable frequency button alternately. By moving the horizontal bar across the entire range, users can access additional frequency values at the ends to identify response limits.

The SWEEP button generates a variable frequency sweep from 10 Hz to 20 KHz at a constant volume. Most headphones may not reproduce all frequencies evenly, displaying volume variations across the range. A flat response indicates higher quality, particularly beneficial for monitor headphones, while a slight mid-treble rise often yields more appealing results for everyday usage.

The P NOISE function generates pink noise, ensuring equal energy perception across all frequencies for linearity assessment. This feature helps detect tones that may sound louder than others.

The DYNAMIC feature plays a fixed frequency with varying amplitude to evaluate whether headphones enhance or attenuate weaker sounds. Users can determine their minimum perceivable level and monitor volume increments for accuracy.

The MUSIC function plays digital recordings to evaluate sound fidelity and clarity in earphones or speakers, while the VOICE button provides acoustic recordings for assessing natural sound reproduction.

To test stereo perception and sound localization, users can utilize the STEREO test feature. The BUTTON test allows users to interact with headset buttons individually, verifying their recognition by smartphones or tablets.

The COMPAT test assists in identifying incompatible headphone models due to different wiring standards of the 4-pin mini-jack. If sound disappears during the normal or inverted phase, it indicates device incompatibility. This test is exclusive to headphones.

With the CHECK LR button, users can confirm proper wiring and placement of left and right channels in their earphones or speakers, with real-time display of active channels.
